This week’s Three From Free, including a ‘creative’ billboard for the Olympics, Lara Bingle’s next move and the fight towards protecting pandas. Enjoy!  A hilarious and clever billboard advertisement by Durex – taking advantage of their role as the primary condom distributer for the athletes at the 2012 London Olympics. – Ashleigh   Finally the reality TV show has paid off for Bingle. I think this was a great move by Air NZ, given Bingle’s profile at the time this is a great way to tap into what was already newsworthy and popular on social media. – Kelly An oldie but a goodie. In 2008 1,600 paper mache pandas appeared in front of Paris’s Hotel de Ville, placed by the World Wildlife Fund to increase public awareness of their endangered emblem. Each panda represented one of the last remaining pandas in the wild – cute, creative and condemning. – Ashleigh

This week’s Three From Free, including a monster slipper, the lengths people will go to for free snacks and a well disguised environmentalist attack on Shell Oil showing the effects of online media. Enjoy!   What went viral as one of the biggest PR fails in history – a launch party debacle followed by a social media campaign that underlined a complete misunderstanding of the internet… proved to actually be a stroke of genius by an environmental group who, it turned out, were behind the doomed “Shell” campaign from the very beginning. – Jon Searching for a tasty way to gain consumer participation and engagement? Look no further than the “Delite-o-matic” – an interactive vending machine which offered people a free pack of Fantastic Delites by means of pushing a button hundreds of times or performing outrageous challenges – Ashleigh What appears to be an awesome photo of a man sitting inside his size 1,450 slipper, has been speculated as a successful publicity stunt for Monster Slippers. Whether it’s a stunt or stuff up, the shoe definitely fits! – Ashleigh

This week’s Three From Free, including a very persuasive form or tyre marketing, a surprising union between Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott and Ikea’s creation of a not so snuggly world. Enjoy! The surprise on the unwilling participants faces is great. An undercover stunt pulled off very effectively for a great ad campaign- Kelly One assumes that this was…. Well… whatever the video equivalent of photoshopped is. Still nice creative plus topicality and/or controversy means you are going to get some editorial as a nice little side salad for your above the line spend. Of course if the balloons had crashed and gone down in flames that would have been front page news. Just saying. – Jon Ah those clever people over at Ikea. This advertisement makes me chuckle whilst also making we want to go out and buy lots of soft fluffy textiles. – Kelly

This week’s Three From Free, including an amazing Hot Wheels stunt,  a campaign to celebrate The Dark Knight Rises and an innovative way to stand out in a saturated market. Enjoy! I absolutely love this. With an existing crowd already there for X Games that appear to be loving it, I would not be surprised if this had a huge social media presence post-event. Would not want to be the driver but a very visually pleasing stunt. – Kelly The sincerest form of flattery is (ahem) being inspired by someone else’s idea. To that end WB have announced their partnership with Melbourne Storm for the release of Dark Knight in an event they are calling “Storming The Knight”. One assumes that Newcastle were busy. It is a tactic that worked very well when Fox launched both Avatar and Star Wars and when Paramount partnered with the Cronulla Sharks for Jackass 3. Good media targeting, good audiences. Nice shirt too. – Jon An Engligh hairdresser made a dress entirely out of her clients hair. A little bit eugh but a great way to get noticed in a relatively saturated industry. Innovative and would certainly have put the salon on the map – Kelly

This week’s Three From Free, including free chocolate, elaborate outdoor advertising and Brad Pitt’s brother. Enjoy! Where was I when this train showed up? A fantastic stunt to lead into their advertising campaign – Kelly None of the elements that make this outdoor execution brilliant are particularly original. Which strangely just seems to make it more brilliant – Jon Ha! This is funny. Doug couldn’t be more suburban and loveable. I want Virgin to push this further and get Doug in People’s sexiest men of 2014 – Amanda
