As a huge fan of Webjet’s Christmas present treat of 2013[ take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIEIvi2MuEk] I just love the new spin on a Christmas Tradition! The Maple Leaf in London is a local home away from home for Canadian expats, and on November 27 this year…they got the surprise of their lives when Air Canada decided to send them home! – Hannah With the festive season fast approaching, its hard for singles who have to go it alone this Xmas. Need a date for the family lunch? Or a +1 for the work christmas do? I know how hard it is to find the perfect man for the job. But thanks to Carol Meldrum I think I’ve found the answer! KNIT YOUR OWN! – Stella Take a look below! http://www.bookdepository.com/Knit-Your-Own-Boyfriend-Carol-Meldrum/9781909397385?utm_source=NL-Body&utm_medium=email-Newsletter&utm_term=book2-img&utm_content=CraftsHobbies&utm_campaign=Newsletter-BestBooks2014-Childrens_Dec11   We’re a bit chuffed with a personal win this week…to celebrate the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on DVD/Blu ray, we engaged Johnny Di Francesco- World Champion Pizza Maker, to create the world’s first 99-Cheese Pizza. Looks like the island may have some competition! We’re always on the hunt for new venues and we’re pretty excited about this one! Check it out below!- James http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertainment/sydney-confidential/the-45m-party-boat-seadeck-is-headed-to-sydney-harbour-in-a-bid-to-be-the-coolest-venue-in-town/story-fni0cvc9-1227145139896 This makes me really nostalgic for London town, and I love a bit of knitting!  7up teamed up with Magda Sayeg for some good ol’fashioned yarn bombing…which is a thing apparently. I love the innovative nature of the concept and that the artist was allowed to be so creative! – Hannah   Any kids would just love this! Doodle Your Toys is a European company that takes your children’s drawings and makes them into toys,  a remarkable idea just in time for Christmas! – Ness

Great unique in restaurant experience. A very loose tie in but who cares it’s fun and great vision. I’m wondering if any of the diners were on first dates. Nice one!- Ness Ok Go! A US Alt-rock band has created a brand of music video’s that transend their music. Their latest creation racked up more than 2.7 million youtube hits in 24 hours. Shot in one continuous shoot, this creation took 60-70 takes to get right. The band is an inspiration for creating out of the box content that engages the consumer and in this case, speaks for itself- Hannah      This is my sort of advent calendar (actually more of a Jack Daniels man myself), it’s a Ginvent calendar! Behind each of the 24 windows lies a different 3cl sample of fantastic gin. Get in quick you get to open window 1 today! – James

1) We’ve been loving the witty responses from various brands in the aftermath of the Mrs Kardashian-West photo shoot in Paper Magazine. Great to see the likes of Nissan, Nestle and Budweiser showing a cheeky side!  Here is some of my favourites – Stella   2) I love a campaign based on truths- however shocking. South Korea has the second highest rate of suicides in the developed world,  and the Mapo Bridge in Seoul is a particularly tragic spot. Every year, dozens of people tragically jump to their death. To do something about this, Samsung came up with the “Bridge of Life”: a light-and-message system that gets people out of themselves, and seeing the essential side of life again. The company claims the suicide rate has fallen 77% on the bridge as a result. Below is a clip talking about the making of the project:Samsung Life Insurance ‘The Bridge of Life’- James 3) CUTE DOG CONTENT ALERT. We want this beagle as our office dog (except Ness and Stella because they don’t like dogs!) – Hannah

Goodbye to the red and white! Coca-Cola has broken down their brand guidelines and launched six limited edition coloured cans for summer!  Colour Your Summer is a great re-invention of an iconic brand, that adds fun and vibrancy to young adults over the warm months. Pink is my favourite! – Stella This is pretty pawe-some! Uber taxis celebrated National Cat Day by delivering kittens to customers in seven cities across America. Customers paid $30 to snuggle with the adoptable felines at their homes and offices for 15 minutes, with the profits going to charity. To order the kittens, Uber users loaded up their Uber app, and if kittens were available, they could select the “KITTENS” option and little cat faces replaced the taxis on the map. I’m a dog person, but even I would love this! – Hannah I love this sentiment, it’s something we should all take into our day to day operations and make us remember why we love what we do! – James

Fresh from Halloween last week I wanted to share this piece of gold… Echoing  its ‘Unbelievable’ marketing strapline, Pepsi Max partnered with Odeon Cinemas to create this Hallowe’en PR stunt using face tracking technology! – James A new read! I love an early morning coffee and a flick through the newspapers so I’m chuffed to hear there ‘s a new National Newspaper launching! – Stella Sculptures by the Sea is cracking this year. This week’s Three From Free, includes an innovative use of pinterest, some beautiful 3D street art, and an elevator prank. Enjoy! The Transport Accident Commission took an unexpected approach in their campaign by creating a board on pinterest, which focuses on the different elements involved in planning a funeral. Very original and hopefully it will be effective – Jessie This is beautiful! But I kinda liked this space better when we had The Dictator camels and Pop-Up Embassy… bias much? – Amanda This is a pretty good prank and a clever way to promote their product. Well done LG – Jessie

This week’s Three From Free includes a stratospheric free fall, an instagram menu, and a challenge fit for James Bond . Enjoy!   Without mentioning a word about their energy drinks, Red Bull managed to successfully market their brand with their  ‘extreme’ sponsorship, resulting in three new world records and some great promotion for Red Bull – Jessie   Ever stuck to decide what to order at a restaurant? People love to upload their food onto instagram and Comodo restaurant has used that to their advantage, creating a hashtag for restaurant goers to search and help them decide on a meal – Jessie   This concept is fantastic. As we get to the end of the clip I’m not entirely sure if this is actually ‘real’ but if it is then I am sufficiently impressed. Nice cross promotion – Kelly

This week’s Three From Free includes a gruesome pop-up butchery, an elevator with a dizzying view, and a monster university. Enjoy!   Well this is unsettling, what gorey imagery! I wonder how many people actually tried out this stuff? Definitely on brand though so nice work Resident Evil – Kelly   If you have a fear of heights then this is one elevator you would want to avoid. Back in 2009 Swiss Skydive fitted high traffic elevators with birds eye views of the city to give people the feeling they were in free fall. Not sure whether this would make me want to try skydiving, but it’s a clever way to promote the company – Jessie   To promote the 2013 Monsters Inc. film, an academic website was created for Monsters University including information on admission, campus life and a merchandise store – Jessie

This week’s Three From Free has us admiring the art of Ironing, impressed by the amount of attention L.G gained through their Rugby Tunnel creation, and finally, the whole team has been wondering where we were when these free cookies were flying around! Enjoy!   This is a pretty creative way of showcasing the functions of Phillips products, I’m not sure if the products are lost in the sheer speed of the fast-forward but still, quite impressive. – Kelly A player would run in dirty at half time and come out sparkling clean, this had tongues wagging. Simple AND effective! – Jessica This was not just about informing the public about the changing name but Havas Worldwide (formally Euro RSCG Australia) wanted to change 1000 sad commuters to 1000 smiling commuters. Now why is this not happening everyday? – Jessica
